Student Design Challenge

In spring 2010, The Biomimicry Institute coordinated its second Student Design Challenge. Pacific Outdoor Equipment once again sponsored the challenge, and Pika Designs supported the challenge with 3D renderings.

Spring Semester 2009

The Institute put together the first interdisciplinary and collaborative design team of university students and faculty in spring 2009 and facilitated the design process throughout the semester-long project, from idea to prototype. The resulting product, seen in the images below, is currently sold by POE.
