I was entranced when I read Biomimicry and it left me with a deep sense of hope for our planet's biosphere.  I want to support the creation of the broadest expansion possible of nature-based research, innovation and invention.  While Janine  Benyus and many other visionary thinkers and scientists explore this new, yet very old path of biological redemption, those of us in government, the green building industry, policy development and other disciplines can be foot soldiers in the movement to reinvent how we think about and benefit from the brilliance of the natural world around us.
