Sarah Frias-Torres (gaia)

As a field-based marine biologist, I do research on behavioral ecology and conservation biology of marine megafauna (the ocean giants), and endangered marine habitats (coral reefs, mangroves). During my fieldwork, I often marvel at how marine life has solved many design and functional problems. Perhaps, joining the Biomimicry Institute and interacting with its Community, will allow me to translate what I see and study into solving human problems.
