I used to always want a massive mansion with a billion rooms as a child. Now, as an adult, I see that I really don't need all that space. All the money it would take to cool that home down, all the cost and waste that would incur in building that home, etc. would be incredibly artificial and inefficient.
I think our bodies also suffer from all the artificial food we consume. Cheeto's, sodas, cakes... I admit I enjoy these foods very much, but my body had never felt more energetic than when I went on a total fruit and veggie diet to lose weight. This was a pretty big indicator to me that I needed to embrace nature, not work against it. Man could surely accomplish more if he learned to work with what already exists rather than trying to force it to fit his means.
I am an artist (pencil, ink, and marker primariy) and a clothing/costume designer. I want to find ways to continue practicing my craft while benefitting the environment. If anyone has any resources regarding biodegradable fabrics or anything like that (sorry, this is the first time I delve into greener methods of sewing, so I know none of the terminology) it would be greatly appreciated.
