After suffering for many years with "Extreme Bipolar Career Disorder" Katy has finally settled in to her niche. A Rhode Island School of Design
graduate and Watson Fellow, Katy is an accomplished world traveler and
extreme insect enthusiast who spent a year living in her van collecting
bugs in New Zealand and Australia and narrowly escaping a real life
cattle stampede.
Currently Katy spends her days running the Rhode Island School of Design Nature Lab, a cabinet-of-curiosities
style natural history museum where she helps young artists connect to
the natural world- and her nights and weekends designing a fun line of eco-friendly dog collars for Whinny & Woof, christmas sweaters for Talbots, and teaching "Bug Club" at the Roger Williams Park Zoo.
Katy resides in tropical, sunny Providence, Rhode Island where she lives with her partner Paul, four parakeets and their two Satos Cocoa and Nilla.
