I am Director of MUSE: Make Us a Sustainable Earth! - an emerging non-profit organization whose mission is to create a more sustainable earth by empowering the public through educational programs which integrate arts and sciences.
We are creating programs that develop sustainability leadership by creating opportunities for individuals to experience interconnectedness with nature, with each other, and within themselves. During the course of the program participants will live and work on a permaculture farm in Hawaii and have opportunities to network with local sustainability leaders, study material and energy flows, learn about traditional Hawaiian as well as modern technological sustainability solutions, and to develop nature-inspired solutions that can be applied to creatively solve complex problems in their own communities.
