My name is Nirmala. I have been officially part of the ZERI and biomimicry community for a while. It is nice to be part of the Ask Nature network. As a sustainability practitioner I beleive we need to move away from centralised capital intensive approaches to devleopment; even in the name of bio-mimicry i will not advocate any centralised development designs. I believe the more local our solutions are, the closer we are paying attention to our ever-changing eco-systems. i hope one day we will be able to collpase all the smart categories that defines us and just be able to integrate ourselves truly as part of our intelligent eco-ssytems. I live in South Africa working and playing to change the consciousness around sustainable development - attempting to induce some humility in our experts to Ask Nature.
