As a new product development guy, meeting Janine, and Dayna, and Rose at the 2006 Biomimicry Seminar in Costa Rica was both eye-opening and inspiring. Although people have undoubtedly looked to nature for inspiration for thousands of years, we now live in a unigue "sweet spot" in history, where today's technology allows us to unlock more of nature's mysteries and solve more of today's problems than ever before. Though always an outdoor person, Biomimicry has forever changed the way I look at the world around me. And it provides great hope for our future.
