I am a marine biologist, and have been aware of what is formally now called "Biomimcry" since I was a child.  My stock answer, since I was 10, to those who had challenges with projects in school (science projects, design projects) was, "Look at nature. She's been doing it right for millions of years. She's done all the work for you.  All you have to do is observe." 

I am thrilled someone has taken what is in front of us to a new height and shown us all how to observe the wonderful gift of what the natural world has provided for us. Through our understanding of biomimcry, we will be able to live with the world rather than just living *in* it.

Currently, I am working on a steam compression engine.
