Hi from Texas,
I am science teacher, degreed in aquatic biology who has taught environmental science, geology and life science at the university level for years. Currently I am obtaining my PhD in science education.
Recently I heard Dayna Baumeister speak on biomimicry and was enthralled, provoked to thought and awestruck by the simplicity of the idea.
Looking forward to seeing how science educators can play a part in helping students listen and observe nature, as it will be the innovative curious thinkers in our children that grow to solve many of the global issues of today.
