I'm an architecture student from New Zealand. I'm currently searching for a Thesis topic.
I have not enjoyed my architecture course, in fact from it i have developed a slight hatred. What was taught to me was rubbish, and the 'sustainable' architecture which i was exposed to was anything but sustainable.
I'm interested in biomimicry because it's the only 'real' thing i've come across in my 4 years of study, the possible downhill future we face is very real and through sustainable architecture we can make a difference. But architects seem so caught up in aesthetics and 'points' that they can't seem to get off their high-horse and open their eyes.
I'm not sure what i want to do my Masters thesis on but maybe something with keywords like:
aesthetics, neruology, happiness and biomimicry.
I'm very confued :)

i am looking at biomimicry for my final year project aswell at Vic Uni. i was wondering if you had come across any criticism towards this form of architecture?>
