i'm fascinated, as i guess everyone else here, by nature.
i'm an observer, not a scientist.
i like to study things by looking at them as closely and in detail as possible, and then place them into macro system by looking at how things bounce of each other, interact with each other and manipulate each other.
i'm interested in the built environment as it is where we all live, even when we're lost in the jungle.
i'm interested learning how mankind managed to survive before electricity and the engine, when the natural environment around us was still a lot more powerful than us and it was necessary to confront it rather than dominate it.
i'd like to study and learn how old techologies and techniques can help us today; how they can mediate between us and the natural environment around us.
it is not literally biomimicry but it historical learning.
and when the two things get together progress can be made faster and without repetition.
