I am a Landscape Architect and founder of Cheveallier Design Studio, LLC; a sustainable design firm dedicated to creating habitats that improve quality of life and the natural environments in which we live, work and play. We approach every design challenge from a standpoint of creative problem solving as well as ecological responsibility.Many are familiar with buzz words like Green Building, Sustainability or Low Impact Development > each of which can be used to describe a project that minimizes any negative effects on the environment.

Far too often perceived budgetary constraints take front seat to sustainability and the Best Management Practices (BMPs). As stewards of the land and waterways, Cheveallier Design Studio strives to educate our clients on new and innovative materials and building techniques that reduce development and maintenance costs while creating a symbiotic relationship with it's surroundings.

“What happens up stream dramatically affects life down stream.” Understanding that one site is not isolated, rather delicately interwoven with it’s surroundings is a key principle in responsible design solutions. Our philosophy applies to all projects be it a one thousand acre industrial campus or your own back yard.
