Denise DeLuca (ddeluca)

I was the Outreach Director for The Biomimcry Institute from 2007 to 2009. I am now working as Project Lead for Swedish Biomimetics 3000 (http://www.swedishbiomimetics.com/), serving as  an Outreach Representative for The Biomimicry Institute and The Biomimicry Guild, and am now partner and co-founder of BCI-Biomimicry (http://biomimicry-bci.squarespace.com/).  

I am currently living on the Isle of Anglesey in north Wales, UK (if you look on a map, it's right across the Irish Sea from Dublin).

My passion is to deepen the thinking on biomimicry and sustainability by sharing ideas with others, and then working to implement the ideas.  

My work with Swedish Biomimetics 3000 focuses on highly targeted biomimetic product design using a virtual venture integrated organization model for accelerated innovation -- in itself a biomimetic business model. 

BCI is an exciting new collaborative that is focused more on business organizational change.  BCI is also created using a biomimetic business model, functioning like a dynamic ecosystem.
