hi one and all my name is arfan ghani i am 54 years old, male, architect, who teaches and practices arhitecture in lahore pakistan, i came across biomimicry during a random search on the net (looking for material on sustanability) and further study convinced me that biomimcry is the way of the future because not only it brings us in harmony with nature but can also be source for innovation in design since then i conduct one design excersie in my design studio (6 week duration) called design in extreme conditions where students are to learn from nature and then design i have developed a reader of downloaded information from this site as well as others which i give to students (hoping you do not mind) but to my utter dismay not many people have heard about, literature and study material is extremely hard to come by and perhaps this is an attempt to link with people so as to bring biomimicry to pakistan, and please, please once you hear the name pakistan do not get into typical media hype pakistan is avery diverse country both culturraly and ecologically yes there are a few crazies around but they are a small fringe like the song goes there is a whole lot of shakin going on take care
