I have degrees in biology and architecture.  I think the key to sustainability is learning how to live more like other organisms who have proven themselves successful in their habitats. We are a young species, and we may wipe ourselves out - or we may find ways to live harmoniously on this planet. Either way, it's an exciting quest.

I like the idea of furry buildings, with cladding that acts like skin or a cell membrane in a biological sense, regulating the flow of water, air, energy, waste, etc in and out.
