Thanks for the inquiry! The image is a marine diatom. I do not know the specific name, but it is a type of centrale, which are radial and concentric. Question for you - did you become and architect or biologist/geologist first? (I am considering what career tangent to follow next....) |

Thanks for the info about the centrale. That's a powerful image that I want to explore as an arictectural form. I studied both architecture and biology simultaneoulsy in college, and have an ongoing interest in biology and geology. Architecture just won out as the main breadwinner.
