Dear Milad,
There are two different ways you could approach nature as a source of inspiration. You can start from the biology, which means going out in nature, or wandering through AskNature, looking for something that inspires you, and then thinking about what kind of product, process, or system you could design by mimicking what you see. If you want to do that using AskNature, I suggest you look at the various sets of featured strategies by starting here and then working your way through them using the list on the right: http://asknature.org/strategy/highlight/Cooling+Down However, if you have a particular challenge in mind, what you want to design and how you want it to function, then you should use a different approach. I suggest you read through the Site Tutorial found under the About tab and this page: http://asknature.org/article/view/biomimicry_taxonomy. I'd be happy to provide some other ideas for organisms if you let me know more specifically what you want to do. Sherry Ritter AskNature Content Editor and Biologist at the Design Table |
