Presently involved in starting a consulting firm focused on architectural design and sustainability, I am registered as an architect in the State of New York, and NCARB and LEED certified. Professionally, I am a member of the American Institute of Architects, the American Planning Association, the BuildingSmart Alliance, and the Congress for New Urbanism. My undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut is in fine arts (sculpture). My graduate studies in architecture (MArch, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign) focused on design methods. I am interested in biomimicry as an interdisciplinary bridge for collaborative sustainable design efforts.
