Margo Farnsworth (screendoor)

Margo teaches graduate students about Water, Energy and Land Use Management and Natural Resources at Lipscomb University’s Institute of Sustainable Practice where she infuses biomimicry into the world of business.
She also works as a consultant in strategic development for environmental organizations and businesses working on sustainability as well as serving as Senior Fellow and Executive Director for the Cumberland River Compact for over a decade. With the Compact she has worked with colleagues and partners to create a sustainable building program, local officials’ outreach & water curriculum and a river-oriented art exhibit – the largest outdoor installation in Nashville’s history.
In her free time she roams the rivers and trails of the Southeast and Midwest, spends time with her family including an array of friendly farm animals and wild animals friendly to farm landscapes.
